The New Panasonic Plasma TV: Leading the Way to the Plasma TV Evolution
CA

The demand is rising for extra-large plasma display screens, and Panasonic has the solution. Their new line-up of displays includes a 65-inch plasma model that offers the superior image quality, extensive functions, and extendibility that make Panasonic an industry leader. The new unit suits any application calling for a super size display. Use it in your home theater, a directory in a building lobby, an information board for an airport, train station or other large public facility, or a monitor at event sites.

Panasonic plasma TV's combine innovative displays technology with artful design to deliver an incomparable flat-screen TV -- the focal point of your home theater. Panasonic plasma TV screens deliver a staggeringly clear, naturalistic picture by arranging the red, green, and blue phosphors comprising its plasma screen asymmetrically, which balances light emissions while enhancing brightness and contrast. This technology takes Panasonic plasma TVs technology to a new level, giving Panasonic's plasma TV outstanding blacks, brilliant whites, and naturalistic color reproduction.

Check out the high quality of the Panasonic plasma TV screens that allow you to view enhanced-definition (ED) or high-definition (HD) TV programming in either the 1080i or 480p formats with an optional set-top receiver. Panasonic's exclusive dual-scanning method increases the scan-rate cycle, raising the light output, and resulting in the brightest plasma TV available.

The Panasonic Plasma TV displays deliver crisp, vivid images with rich, life-like colors, and the brightest whites possible with plasma TV technology. Panasonic Plasma TVs deliver a bright, lifelike picture from a plasma HDTV monitor that fits perfectly into any room. These TVs feature the unique Real Black Drive System and Cell Structure Panel working together to enhance brightness and contrast. The result is a breathtaking picture with rich, deep blacks, brilliant whites, and dynamic colors. Enjoy cinema-style entertainment with a wide screen that mimics the shape of a theater screen, and connect a high-definition receiver to enjoy the realism of HDTV programs.

Panasonic has had the best picture performance in the 42" plasma monitor category for a couple of years now and this holds true for the 50" model as well.

Panasonic has continued to improve the flexibility of their plasma display offerings especially with regard to inputs. The new Panasonic TH-50PHD6UY has flex input terminals to allow the owner to swap input cards depending upon the needs of their configuration. This new feature is accomplished with optional video terminal boards which may be purchased to assist any user with their individual set up.

These include component terminal boards, composite terminal boards, and DVI/HDCP terminal boards. There is an optional empty slot in the Panasonic plasma to allow the user to simply unscrew 4 screws on the back of the unit, take off a plate, and slide in an optional video terminal board. This may allow the consumer or professional user to be able to view picture in picture or side by side picture from the plasma - also a new feature.

There are $ features of the Panasonic Plasma TV Flat Panel Monitor that Panasonic is extremely proud of, they are:

Adaptive Brightness Intensifier

Panasonic plasma display flat panels control brightness by regulating the discharge cycles (time). Many displays suffer from insufficient peak brightness in dark scenes.

Asymmetrical Cell Structure Panel

Panasonic Plasma has dramatically improved the light-emitting balance of these primary colors. And to enhance brightness and contrast, they have improved the cell wall structure and use new fluorescent materials with superior light-emission characteristics. Together, these technologies achieve an entirely new level of flat panel display performance with deep blacks, brilliant whites and dramatic color reproduction.

Dual Scanning Method

Panasonic Plasma TV dual scanning method increases the scan cycle rate, raising the light output, and resulting in brighter images.

Ultra Thin Design

This allows you to hang the flat panel from a wall to open up space in your bedroom, living room, or home theater.
